The US Autism Association and Voices Together will host the 20th World Autism Conference April 29–May 1, 2027, in Long Beach, California; a venue has not yet been named on the event site. The three-day meeting serves a mixed audience of autistic self-advocates, parents and caregivers, educators, therapy professionals, and medical practitioners and first responders.

Organizers list more than 30 speakers, with Temple Grandin delivering the keynote on Saturday, May 1. Programming is divided into five tracks matched to those audiences. New for 2027, a full day is devoted to short-format US Autism Ten-Minute Talks, while Friday and Saturday carry keynotes, breakout sessions and panel discussions. Registration is split between a non-CEU option for self-advocates, parents and caregivers and a CEU option for professionals, and sponsor and exhibitor packages are available.

The US Autism Association traces its roots to 1995, when Dr. Lawrence P. Kaplan founded its predecessor, Special Abilities. Its team ran sixteen World Autism Conferences between 2005 and 2018, moved online during the pandemic and returned to in-person conferences in 2023. The event is broader than a clinical ABA meeting, but its professional track and CEU registration give behavior analysts, educators and therapy providers a setting where family and self-advocate perspectives sit alongside clinical content.
