The Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI) will hold OCALICON 2026, its 20th conference, online from November 17–20, 2026. Branded OCALICONLINE this year, the event is entirely virtual, with no in-person component in Columbus. It is aimed at educators, clinicians, agency staff, family members and self-advocates supporting people with autism and other disabilities across the lifespan.
The program lists more than 250 presenters and 160 sessions, including a special education state update from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce’s Office for Exceptional Children. A single registration covers all live sessions and on-demand recordings through January 11, 2027. Professional registration is $350 from October 1, and parent, family member and full-time student registrations cost $80 without continuing education credit. OCALI states that BACB continuing education credit will not be offered for the 2026 conference; other CEUs and graduate credit are being processed.
OCALI is an Ohio agency that operates ten centers and several online learning portals for families, educators and professionals, and the conference is funded in part through a grant from the state’s Office for Exceptional Children. Since 2007 it has drawn participants from all 50 states and 19 countries. The absence of BACB credit is a notable change for behavior analysts who have used OCALICON for CEUs, though its school-focused content remains relevant to ABA teams.
